“Under the Prairie Sky.” Poplar,
Montana 2013. Nicole Waller's red car was abandoned on a highway
just outside of town. Her keys and multiple medications were locked
inside. She disappeared without a trace. Investigators spent two
years searching for clues and answers. The mystery of Nicole's
disappearance was as long and desolate as the highways throughout
Montana. To complicate matters was the area where Nicole's car was
found. It's called, “stab city” because multiple knife stabbings are reported each year.
Investigators looked at security
footage off of a high school camera. They saw Nicole's car drive by
and another truck following it. What happened to Nicole? Could this
be a clue to help find her?
(Note: This is the first time a
criminal suspect had actually used a "swear" word aimed at Josh
Mankiewicz. It says a lot about the crime and the suspect.).
