'48 Hours: NCIS' investigates the murder of 2 females

"48 Hours: NCIS" (CBS) was seen Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) in Albuquerque, NM on KRQE 13. It is the second of a 6-part TV-series. The episode on May 12, 2017 was called, “To catch a killer." In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 5.03 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “20/20" (ABC) grabbed 3.29 overall & 0.6 with adults. “Dateline” (NBC) nabbed 3.92 overall & 0.8 with adults.

“To catch a killer.” West Virginia 2008. Megan's dad and his friend Robert were in the Navy. Megan claimed that Robert had touched her inappropriately. NCIS took over the investigation because Megan was only 16-years-old. Robert could face extreme charges within the Navy. Megan was then found dead in her home and was sexually assaulted. DNA was tested and it didn't trace back to Robert. Who killed Megan?

There is a second story in this hour episode. 1992. A woman's dead body was found in a lake near the military base, “Camp Pendleton.” The case went cold until another woman steps forward with a confession...,
