THE KEEPERS on NET-FLIX. (Season 1 Episode 6). The voice of
Edgar Davidson was recorded by phone when he called a local radio station. He
disguised his voice and said he knew who was carrying Sister Cathy’s Rosary.
The police thought Edgar murdered Cathy, but he denied it. He claimed that he cut
his hand the night she was killed. His former wife Margaret said he had blood
on his shirt that night in 1969. Edgar admitted he misled the radio program because he
shouldn’t have called them about that Rosary.
A police detective was assigned to the cold case of Sister
Cathy. He said that everyone is a suspect and claimed that Father
Joseph Maskell was looked at closely until he died in 2001. Father Jerry Koob
was looked at too. He claimed that he wanted to marry Cathy, but she said “no.”
Koob had an alibi the night Cathy was killed. He went with a friend to dinner and a movie. Marilyn called Koob’s friend who verified Koob's story. She is the actual biological sister to Cathy.
Koob made an outrageous claim when he was questioned
by police. He said that he was threatened by a detective who showed him Cathy’s
actual “Vagina” wrapped in a newspaper. No one believed it to be true. Koob thought it was a threat so that he would confess to Cathy’s murder. Police had no evidence to arrest him.
Sister Cathy Cesnik's murder is still an open case in 2017.
