48 HOURS (CBS) can be seen each Saturday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (mountain time) on the Albuquerque TV station KRQE 13. Last night’s episode on May 11, 2018 was called, “Lorenzen Wright: No defense.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.61 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “20/20” (ABC) grabbed 2.08 overall & 0.3 with adults. “SNL Vintage” (NBC) nabbed 2.52 overall & 0.7 with adults.
“48 Hours” is a news program that covers crime and murder in the United States. Saturday night’s episode was reported and narrated by James Brown.
“Lorenzen Wright: No Defense.” Memphis, Tennesse 2010. Lorenzen Wright’s dead body was found in a field who was shot multiple times. He was a hometown basketball hero who made it to the NBA. He always gave back to the kids in his community. There were no leads in his murder case for 7 years. That's when police found the gun that killed him. It was thrown into a Mississippi river. Billy Ray Turner was arrested in connection with that gun. He was a former deacon in Sherra Wright’s church. She is the widow of Lorenzen. Police soon arrested her too, who was living in California. They both had a sexual relationship when Lorenzen was gunned down. Then, a third man was arrested in connection with killing Lorenzen. Sherra was awarded $1 million in life insurance after Lorenzen's death. She spent it all in less than 7 months...,
