'48 Hours' episode 'Surviving Ted Bundy' hits 2.82 TV Ratings overall

The 48 HOURS (CBS) episode called, "Live to Tell: Surviving Ted Bundy" aired last Saturday night (4/11/2020) at 10/9 p.m. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 2.82 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.4 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to49 adult demographic. "Saturday Night Live " (NBC) grabbed 3.25 overall & 0.6 with adults (repeat). "American Idol" (ABC) nabbed 1.95 overall & 0.3 with adults (9-11 p.m.).

"Live to Tell: Surviving Ted Bundy." Florida State University in 1978. Inside a sorority house late at night. Four female college students were brutally attacked and beaten. Another was also beaten in her house down the street. Three of them had survived their fatal injuries. Two of them never recovered and had died. Ted Bundy was the male who committed these crimes. He didn't plan the sorority beatings, but he watched the young woman down the street. He had followed her closely. Kathy Kleiner, Karen Chandler and Cheryl Thomas survived Bundy's attacks and tell their story....
