NOBODY from UNVERSAL. The COVID-19 pandemic restrictions are lifting in many U.S. states. Movie theaters are re-opening and film audiences are coming back.
One month ago - "Nobody" opened at number #1 at the box office. It has remained steady in the last four weeks by jumping back up to number #2. The domestic box office total has hit $21 million. The world-wide box office has now climbed to $38 million. Week-ending April 25, 2021.
New Mexico is slowly re-opening movie theaters, but not at Albuquerque. Such a disappointment because I want to see "Nobody" in a real theater. Universal Pictures has released it with "Video-On-Demand" and that is where I watched it at Prime Video... I loved it.
I am a fan of Bob Odenkirk who has been filming "Better Call Saul" right here at Albuquerque. That show ends in 2022 after 6 TV seasons.
I'm also a huge fan of the "John Wick" action films with Keanu Reeves. "Nobody" is made by the same filmmakers and Bob goes all-in with John Wick similarities.
The movie trailer says it all concerning plot and character. I will not give anything away because the film has to be seen to be enjoyed. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.
