Male subject on '48 hours' in 'Crosley Green's Hard Time' released from prison after 30 years

48 HOURS on CBS. Erin Moriarty followed this case for 20 years. The most recent episode is called, "Crosley Green's Hard Time."

Crosley was convicted of murder and sentenced to death (1990). He wasn't even at the murder scene after a guy named "Chip" was shot and killed. His ex-girlfriend "Kim" chose Crosley as the "Black Man" who abducted the couple. She was the only eye-witness in a thin circumstantial case.

Two police detectives believed that it was Kim who killed Chip because he had a new girlfriend. She was never charged.

Crosley's conviction has been overturned (2018) and he is finally released.
