Richard sat in prison planning to kill the man who 'Framed Him'

CNN reports on Richard Phillips who spent 46 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. A man named Fred Mitchell was arrested back in the 1971. To get out of his latest crime. Fred told police that he knew who murdered Gregory Harris. He pointed his finger at Richard and another man. Richard was convicted and got "life" in prison without the possibility of parole.... 

Check out Richard's extraordinary story over at CNN. (It will give readers a lot to think about. Richard remained positive and hopeful for 46 years).

'Blood Quantum' hits Video-On-Demand & Digital Download April 28, 2020

BLOOD QUANTUM from Prospector Films. It is an Independent Zombie film from Canada. It is getting good reviews before it hits VOD & Digital Download on April 28, 2020. It will not be released in movie theaters because of the Corona-Virus outbreak.

'48 Hours' episode 'The Murder of Haley Anderson' grabs 3.52 TV Ratings Overall

The 48 HOURS (CBS) episode called, "The Murder of Haley Anderson" aired last Saturday night (4/25/2020) at 10/9 p.m. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 3.52 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.4 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. "Saturday Night Live" (NBC) grabbed 2.80 overall & 0.5 with adults (repeat). "American Idol" (ABC) nabbed 1.62 overall & 0.3 with adults (repeat).

"The Murder of Haley Anderson." Binghamton University 2018. Haley had an on-and-off-relationship with Orlando Tercero. They were both enrolled as nursing students. Her friends claimed that Haley didn't want to settle down with anyone. She had stayed overnight with Orlando and a security camera captured them entering his apartment. She never left that apartment. He was later seen walking to his car with a suitcase. He fled to his home country of Nicaragua. 

Haley was found strangled to death inside Orlando's apartment bedroom....

'Dateline' episode 'Before Daylight' climbs to 4.60 TV Ratings Overall

The DATELINE (NBC) episode called, "Before Daylight" aired Friday night (4/24/2020) at 9/8 p.m. It was reported by Keith Morrison. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 4.60 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. "NFL Draft" (ABC) grabbed 3.12 overall & 0.7 with adults (8-11 p.m.). "Blue Bloods" (CBS) 8.09 overall & 0.8 with adults.

"Before Daylight." Jesse was in his junior year at the University of Missouri. His dead body was found early in the morning and between two homes. He was wearing only blue shorts. The medical examiner concluded that he may have been attacked and inured in his sleep. His apartment door was open and Jesse may have suddenly woke up to run away. He never made it to a friend's home.

Jesse had been secretly seeing an unknown male who wanted his life kept private. Jesse played along until he found out that this male was married. Who was this man and was he Jesse's killer?

THE TRUE HISTORY OF THE KELLY GANG from IFC Films. It was supposed to open in US movie theaters on Friday April 24, 2020. It won't because COVID-19 has closed down all theaters in America. Three other films opening this Friday have been cancelled too.

Movie theaters won't open in state of Georgia after Governor tries re-opening businesses

Governor Kemp of Georgia wants to slowly re-open his state during the Corona-Virus outbreak. His plans consist of social distancing in non-essential work places. They include restaurants, bowling alley's, gyms and movie theaters. The Governor has gotten wide spread criticism over this because of COVID-19 cases and deaths that keep rising in his state. Health officials say that Georgia hasn't hit its' "Apex" yet because of ongoing testing.

The big movie theater chains have closed until further notice. It doesn't look like they're prepared to open by this Friday on April 24, 2020 at Georgia.... Stay tuned.

'Netflix' adds 16 million subscribers during 'Corona-Virus' Outbreak

As America crawls into the 5th week of the "Corona-Virus" outbreak. Online streaming has seen a very dramatic spike in viewership. "Netflix" is leading the way as 16 million subscribers joined the online giant. 

The breakout hit is "Tiger King." The 7-part documentary has racked up 65 million viewers in 4 weeks. The Spanish drama "Money Heist" is also nabbing viewers with a near 65 million. Each U.S., state has "Stay-At-Home" orders by their Governors. Netflix is cleaning up and with good reason.

20/20 episode 'Last Seen Walking' tackles small town scrutiny

"20/20" (ABC). The episode called, "Last Seen Walking" had aired on Friday night February 28, 2020 at 9/8 p.m. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 3.36 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers with the all important 18 to 49 adults. "Hawaii Five-0" (CBS) grabbed 6.80 overall & 0.7 with adults. "Dateline" (NBC) nabs 3.35 overall & adults 0.6 with adults. 

"Last Seen Walking." Coquille, Oregon 2000. Leah was only 15-years-old who went missing during a summer night. Her boyfriend Nick had searched for her, but thought she had returned home. Both of Leah's shoes would be found separately. One shoe had her blood on them. Her dead body was later found and Leah's case went cold for 10 years.

The small town of Coquille had already convicted Nick by rumor and gossip. A new sheriff came to town and was determined to arrest him for Leah's murder. He did so based on circumstantial evidence. No one could place Nick at the crime scene....

Note: When you watch this. It will make you angry at the sheriff and prosecutor.

COVID-19 has the Stay-At-Home 'Viewing' peak with 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker'

America is still in the grip of the "Corona-Virus" outbreak as of Sunday (4/19/2020). Each U.S., state has Stay-At-Home orders and in-house viewing spikes up dramatically. 

According to "The Numbers" that tracks box office receipts. Video-On Demand / DVD / Blu-Ray / has all of the numbers for the week of April 11, 2020. 

"Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" is the number #1 movie.

'48 Hours' episode ' Crosley Green's Hard Time' nabs 3.58 TV Ratings Overall

The 48 HOURS (CBS) episode called, "Crosley Green's Hard Time" aired last Saturday night (4/18/2020) at 10/9 p.m. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 3.58 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. "Saturday Night Live " (NBC) grabbed 3.34 overall & 0.6 with adults (repeat). "The Baker and the Beauty" (ABC) nabbed 2.47 overall & 0.5 with adults.

"Crosley Green's Hard Time." Crosley has been in prison since 1990. He was convicted of killing Charles Flynn at Florida and received the death penalty. Crosley was taken off of death-row after two decades. He had always claimed his innocence and still does after thirty years behind bars. 

Charles was with his ex-girlfriend Kim when she claimed that a black man approached them. He had pulled a gun and Charles later died on the way to the hospital. Kim changed her story several times about what happened that night. She was recorded by family members, but never by the police. There was no evidence connecting Crosley to the crime scene....

The DATELINE (NBC) episode called, "The House" aired Friday night (4/17/2020) at 10/9 p.m. It was reported by Josh Mankiewicz. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 3.30 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. "20/20" (ABC) grabbed 4.06 overall & 0.7 with adults (9-11 p.m.). "Blue Bloods" (CBS) 5.60 overall & 0.5 with adults.

"The House." 2017. Scott Horn was a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). No one had heard from him one day. Police and Scott's daughter Kelly did a check in his house. Scott's son Riley had turned on a special video camera at night. He searched the family home and discovered a dead body in the back yard. It turned out to be Scott Horn who was shot by a gun and then beaten to death. Him and his wife Ann were living separately in their home....

HBO 'Perry Mason' reboot premieres June 21, 2020

PERRY MASON on HBO. The reboot of the popular 1950's TV series goes back to the 1930's. I'm a huge fan of PERRY MASON and this looks new and different. I am excited.

ESPN 'The Last Dance' 10-part documentary begins on April 19, 2020

THE LAST DANCE on ESPN. The basketball docu-series was supposed to air in Summer of 2020. It has been moved up to April 19  and will stream online with / ESPN / Hulu / You-Tube TV / Sling TV.... The international airing will begin on "Netflix" beginning April 20. Check you listings.
