My TV recap is coming soon at Examiner News. All I'm going to say is "Unbelievable!" The 6th episode "The Calling Back" shows us that Cheyenne women are still victims of white men through the generations. These native women are taught to "shut up" because they will never see justice because white men have the power. This will make you angry because a native mother teaches her daughter how to play the victim just like her ancestors. And all that Walt, Vic & Cady can do is try to help.
Wow, you can see the anger that goes back generations. Especially in Malachi who hides his anger under sarcastic remarks. Tribal officer Mathias is always angry too. There are so many natives like him & just like the mother. The writers took guts to tackle this subject of racism, power & the powerless.
