The 2015 Fall season premiere of THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA (NBC) had some cast changes. There is a new captain of Laura's precinct & no one likes her. Jake demoted himself to senior detective & the silly blonde is gone. I actually liked her, but maybe the producers thought she was too funny. Laura is the lead character & she's supposed to be the funny detective mom.
