Oregon Standoff: Were the farmer's a militia group or just squatters?

News from my home state of Oregon. This is an update. The final leader Jason Patrick walked 6 miles to an FBI check point & was arrested Wednesday night. That left four inside the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge after a standoff with federal authorities since Jan. 2, 2016. A husband & wife dance on a video to a car radio to show the world their love. The man said that they just want to be "Free" with no "FBI" check points. That video is getting a ton of "Fat" joke comments.

None of these farmer militia group members are from Oregon. They all went to the town of Burns to support the two Hammond's who just went to prison for setting fire to federal lands. There is no report saying the Hammond's asked anyone to protest on their behalf.

As I looked at the recent video where the husband & wife remain. Were they just squatters? Most of the male leaders who are now in custody, have federal issues in their own home states. Did they see an opportunity to protest & live on federal land freely? It certainly didn't help their cause, but only to give a major headache to the state of Oregon.
