SICARIO was partly filmed in the state of New Mexico. It nabbed 3 Oscar nominations with the Academy Awards for 2015. Best Cinematography for Roger Deakins. Best Sound Editing for Alan Robert Murray. Best Original Score for Jóhann Jóhannsson. The Oscars will be handed out on Sunday Feb. 28, 2016 live on ABC.
