SPOTLIGHT nabbed a Best Picture Oscar nomination last Thursday. It goes up against "8" other well received movies including THE REVENANT. It beat out all the competition during the Critics' Choice Awards 2016 as Best Picture of 2015.
I think it is well deserved because it is the best film on investigative journalism since ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN 1976. It is that good. SPOTLIGHT is now the front runner as Best Picture at the Oscars.
