The New Mexico Activities Association has several incident reports on former head coach Ceci Moses of the Santa Fe Indian School. Those reports show that she has been verbally abusive during basketball games. She was ejected from several of those games during the 2015 season. Her daughter Shoni Schimmel was also ejected during a game for her own bad behavior.

The Santa Fe New Mexican says, "The NMAA reports obtained by The New Mexican don’t mention Rick Schimmel, but they cite two instances in which Moses used profane language in response to referee calls she didn’t agree with. Both times, she found herself ejected from the game. The two instances involved games between SFIS and Albuquerque’s Hope Christian School."

"In a third instance, one report says, the couple’s daughter, WNBA star Shoni Schimmel, was ejected from a game against Taos High School after she uttered insulting and profane comments to the referee from the stands. Shoni Schimmel plays for the Atlanta Dream (WNBA)."
