Naomi Judd dies at 76 who was part of successful Country Duo 'The Judds'

Naomi & Wynonna Judd were an enormously successful Country Music Duo (1984-1991). They were chosen in 2021 to be inducted into the "Country Music Hall of Fame." 

Naomi was a practicing nurse back in 1983. She and her daughter Wynonna were also living in Nashville, Tennessee. They were trying to land a record deal. An RCA executive had a family member being cared for by Naomi. The mother and daughter auditioned for RCA executives who were impressed by their vocal harmonies. They were signed to a record deal as "The Judds."

Naomi Judd passes away on April 30, 2022. She was 76.
