TREAT WILLIAMS recently died after a motorcycle accident. He was a veteran actor who had many roles in films and on TV.
What I remember was the 1984 TV movie, "A Streetcar Named Desire" when he portrayed Stanley Kowalski to Anne Margaret's Blanche Dubois. I believe it was a TV ratings hit.
But - If you want a Guilty Pleasure.... Watch the 1998 horror film, "Deep Rising" with Treat fighting an underwater monster. It was a box office bomb and critics hated it. The production budget climbed to $45 million and made only $11 million at the box office.
It is so "bad" that it's fun to watch.... Over the years. The movie has become a Cult Classic. I think it's because of Treat Williams. His "Charisma" was in over-load throughout all of the Horror. Check it out if you can. Rest in Peace Treat....
Hollywood Pictures.
