PBS "Downton Abbey" The police deepen their investigation into the mysterious death of Mr. Green. He was the valet of Lord Gillingham who raped Anna Bates at Downton. The police ask questions of John Bates, Anna's husband. He was in London when Green was hit & killed by an automobile. Anna is scared because John had already spent time in prison.
Lady Edith is asked to stop baby sitting her daughter at the home she gave her up to. Lady Mary has slept with Lord Gillingham, but she isn't sure if she would marry him. Phyllis told Lady Cora the full story about her stealing jewels from a former employer.
