'48 Hours' A serial rapist was loose in the state of Colorado

"48 Hours" (CBS) was seen Saturday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) in Albuquerque, NM on KRQE 13. The episode on Nov. 19, 2016 was called, "Hunted." In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.80 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.8 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Saturday night college football" (ABC) grabbed 3.90 overall & 1.1 with adults (8-11 p.m.). “SNL Vintage" (NBC) nabbed 3.09 overall & 0.8 with adults.

"48 Hours" is an investigative program that covers crime & murder in the United States. This episode was reported and narrated by Maureen Maher.

Hunted.” A 65-year-old woman living in Aurora, Colorado had no idea she was being stalked by a man she didn't know. He knew that she lived alone and one night attacked her. He raped her and took pictures of her naked body. He threatened her that if she told police. He would expose the photos on the internet. He cleaned up all traces of his DNA from her bedroom. His DNA was found on a stuffed teddy bear, but it didn't match anyone in the police database. Two years later and in the city of Golden, Colorado. A 29-year-old female was raped in the exact same scenario as the woman at Aurora. An unknown serial rapist was on the loose.
