Sophia's Secret: Live to Tell.” Adam was 16-years-old and Sophia was 14-years-old. She noticed that he was abusive and controlling. She thought it was love and so did he. His first physical attack separated them for a while. That is until they started “messaging” each other on Facebook. He became more abusive and she finally cut off all contact. Adam hid in Sophia's bedroom home, put a knife to her neck and sliced her open. He started a fire and claimed he was gonna kill himself. Her mom and brother got into the bedroom as the fire exploded. Adam was later charged with intent to kill.
