'The Mummy' tops $400 million at world wide box office

THE MUMMY from DARK UNIVERSAL. The monster reboot hit Digital Platforms this month of August 2017. It will come to BluRay and DVD in September. According to "The Numbers" that tracks box office receipts. As of August 7, 2017. It has reached $402,336,163 (million) at the world wide box office. It is creeping up to $80 million in the U.S., with $79,965,535 (million).

Hollywood critics bashed the movie after it made less than expectations over its first weekend run. They even said the monster film would lose $95 million. It stars Tom Cruise and it's his biggest opening ever world wide. (Go below for complete box office numbers).

Production Budget: $125-95 (million).
World Wide Total: $402,336,163 (million).
Profit: $207,336,163 (million).

This does not exclude the marketing of the movie and the cut of Tom Cruise. Critics say that the total cost plus marketing reached $345,000,000 (million). If so, it has made $57,336,163 (million). Didgital, BluRay and DVD still has to be counted. Looks like it's making some cash back.
