Sins of the Father.” McAllen, Texas 1960. Irene Garza went to pray at her local church. She was found dead inside a water canal who was sexually assaulted and strangled. The last person to see her was a Catholic priest named, John Feit. It was reported that he “confessed” to a Monk named, Daly Tacheny in 1963 for Irene’s murder. John has denied that confession for 57 years. Rumors swirled around the police who were accused of protecting the church. That’s why Irene’s murder had gone cold all these years. The case was reopened in 2002 after Dale Tacheny’s interview was re-examined. John was arrested and charged with Irene’s murder in 2016.
