All American Murder.” James Patterson wrote the book on Aaron Hernandez who was a gifted athlete. He committed suicide in prison at age 27 after being convicted of murder (2013). Aaron shot and killed another football athlete named Odin Lloyd. It had seemed that he couldn’t leave his dark side behind. Aaron’s family donated his body to be studied by professional doctors. His head was damaged throughout his football career and it affected his brain. Did that damage contribute to Aaron’s deadly actions?
