Black & White footage of Humphrey Bogart's funeral at Beverly HIlls, CA 1957. 1,000 fans showed up as film stars entered the funeral. Wow, they're all gone now. I recognize producer Samuel Goldwyn & Jack Warner who was head of Warner Brothers Studios. There was also gossip columnist Louella Parsons. Director, John Huston performed the Eulogy.
The movie stars I recognize are, David Niven, Errol Flynn, Spencer Tracy, Marlene Dietrich, Gregory Peck, Danny Kaye, Ronald & Nancy Reagan (She is still alive). It also looks like Louis Jordan, James Mason & Gary Cooper. Finally, Lex Barker & the lovely Lana Turner. Bogart's wife Lauran Bacall died in 2014.
Sadly, Errol Flynn would die the following year 1958 from too much alcohol. Lana Turner's daughter would be charged in the death of Lana's lover Johnny Stampanato that same year. And look at those vintage cars. It's another time & place.
