NBC announced that it has ordered 3 more episodes from THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA. The TV crime show now has 16 episodes for the 2015-16 TV season. Apparently, NBC has been struggling in the TV rat race on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. (They cannot keep repeating episodes of THE VOICE). "Laura" has grabbed an audience averaging 7 million TV viewers overall & 1.2 million TV viewers in the adult demo. It has also grown with DVR recording into 1 million.
Laura Diamond (Debra Messing) is a mother of two boys & is also a smart detective. Her ex-husband Jake (Josh Lucas) is now her partner who used to be her captain. They have great chemistry. I recap TV episodes over at Examiner News.
