“Marco Polo” can be seen streaming
online over at “Netflix.” The eighth episode of season 2 is
called, “Whitehorse.” It stars, Lorenzo Richelmy (Marco Polo),
Benedict Wong (Kublai Khan), Joan Chen (Empress Chabi), Remy Hii
(Prince Jingim) & Tom Wu (Hundred Eyes).
“Whitehorse” opened with Byamba
kidnapping Niccolo Polo who is Marco's dad. Him and Nayan joined
Kaidu in the failed Prince Jingim ambush. Niccolo tries to turn Marco
against the Khan. Ahmad searches for Mei Lin who has fled with her
daughter. Lotus helps protect the daughter after she confronted
“Hundred Eyes” about his loyalty to the Khan. Jingim tells the
Khan that Ahmad has betrayed him. The “Blue Princess” is just a
figment of Kokachin's imagination who nearly goes insane. Mei Lin
leaves her daughter with Lotus as she goes back to set things right.
She told Marco to warn Jingim about Ahmad's ambush.
