'48 Hours' A hitman and conspiracy to commit double murder

48 HOURS (CBS) can be seen each Saturday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KRQE 13. Last night’s episode on Oct. 14, 2017 was called, “Operation Murder.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.75 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Saturday Night College Football” (ABC) grabbed 2.66 overall & 0.7 with adults (8-11 p.m.). “Concert for disaster relief” (NBC) nabbed 2.56 overall & 0.6 with adults. 

“48 Hours” is a news program that covers crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Peter Van Sant. 

Operation Murder.” Valerie McDaniel was a veterinarian. Leon Jacob was also a medical surgeon. They met and supposedly fell in love. It’s March of 2017 and Valerie is informed that her ex-husband Mack has been murdered. Leon is also told that his ex-girlfriend Meghan Verikas was also killed. Moataz Azzeh entered the picture. He claims that Leon hired him to kill Meghan and Valerie’s ex-husband Mack. Moataz went to the police and it was arranged for Meghan and Mack to be dead in “fake photos.” Both Valerie and Leon were arrested for conspiracy to commit murder. What happens next? Why is Valerie found dead?
