THE NIGHT OF on HBO. The Limited-Series part 4. Last night's episode was called, “The Art of War.” The main
characters are, “Naz” (Riz Ahmed) and John Stone (John Tuturro). HBO
will run repeat episodes after the original airing. Check your listings.
“The Art of War.” If you watched
closely. “Naz” was told by his lawyer Alison to plead
guilty to manslaughter and get only 15 years in prison. He said he
didn't kill Andrea and had flashbacks of the night she was killed.
Was he set up? Was he drugged and left at the kitchen table while
someone stabbed Andrea 22 times? Alison quit as his lawyer and would
no longer work for free. The case was turned over to her
inexperienced assistant, Chandra.
John Stone does his own investigation
and finds out that Andrea had entered drug rehabilitation several
times. He also goes to her funeral. His camera records Andrea's
stepfather in the middle of a heated argument with an unknown man. Is her stepfather a possible suspect?
Prison is beginning to harden “Naz”
who finds a possible friend. It turns out that his only ally is
Freddy who just wants to use him. “Naz” is sliced with a knife
and hot water is thrown on him. Can Freddy really help him behind
bars? After all, he does have underground connections outside those prison walls.
