“Ka laina ma ke one.” A man is running away from police officers. He crawls under a fence and the officers are stopped by men in a truck on the other side. They say that the unknown male is no longer in the United States. An independent and free nation claims their sovereignty from the state of Hawaii. The man who crossed the fence is a convicted felon who committed murder. Steve McGarrett talks to a man who believes that felon is not a killer. He wants the Hawaiian police department to convince him that he is protecting a murderer. “Five-0” goes to the governor who wants it cleared up quickly.
