DATELINE on NBC. Did you watch the episode streaming online? It's called, "Conviction" & it made me angry. The retaliation murder of a male teen was brought on because he slapped someone's girlfriend. On the night he was killed. He was with his friend Michael whose girlfriend was the one who was slapped. It turns out that Michael knew the killer too. After 20 years, him & his former girlfriend will not talk to police or the producer of "Dateline."
Richard Rosario spent 20 years in prison for something he didn't do. He had 13 alibi witnesses saying he was in Florida instead of in New York when the teen was killed. Sadly, his court appointed lawyer & police investigators didn't even question Rosario's alibi witnesses. Michael just chose Rosario's picture just to find someone to convict. Injustice!
