SANTA FE INDIAN SCHOOL (SFIS). KOB 4 news obtained voice recordings from Santa Fe police of Rick Schimmel. Him & his wife Ceci were fired from SFIS after an altercation with St. Michaels School during a game on Feb. 17, 2016. Both high school's met on the "racial slurs" which Rick accused the opposing team of saying. They couldn't find any evidence of name calling of racism.
SFIS sent both Rick & Ceci letters of why they were terminated. Even though Ceci told the Albuquerque Journal that she didn't know why she was fired. She & her daughter Shoni were ejected from several games in 2015 because they were verbally abusive to referee's. Those incidents were reported to the New Mexico Athletics Association.
