'Hawaii Five-0' Shake up! Kono & Chin Ho will not return for 8th TV season

HAWAII FIVE-0 on CBS. It was announced on Friday June 30, 2017 by CBS. Daniel Dae Kim (Chin Ho) and Grace Park (Kono) will not return for the 8th TV season. If you remember, during the final episodes of Season 7. Chin Ho was asked to join a special cop force in San Francisco. He had to think about his adopted daughter. On the season finale, Kono boarded a plane and headed for the mid-west. She wanted to make sure young girls weren't captured and sold as sex slaves.

This is a surprise because the rumors centered around Steve and/or Danno leaving the TV crime show. "Five-0" was picked up for an 8th TV season just as "Dr. Max" left the show in the spring of 2017. (That was an emotional goodbye).

CBS says they will update "Five-0" fans on what will happen to Kono and Chin Ho. They will not be in the Fall season premiere on Sept. 29, 2017. I actually tuned in because of Kono. She is married to Adam and that might mean he will be gone too. Could this be the last TV season of "Five-0" because the main cast is exiting? It really was a good TV run...,

Inspector “Thursday” and Constable Morse have three murders to solve. It has to do with an all-boy’s school that closed down back in 1955.

There is corruption inside the police force. Morse tells Thursday that evidence in three of their investigations had been stolen. They are asked to report to the top man about that corruption. It turns out that a boy was murdered in that school back in the 1950’s. It remains a secret until his friends grow up. Who was behind that boy’s murder? Why is Morse arrested? 'Mike's Murder' 1984 L.A. drug world engulfs Betty in death

MIKE’S MURDER from WARNER BROTHERS PICTURES. (1984). It was released on DVD in 2009 by Warner Archive. Film director, James Bridges, specifically wrote this movie for Debra Winger who was “hot” at the time. What is seen in the movie trailer is mostly cut from the final production. Bridges had to re-edit the film after “Warner Bros.” and the test audiences disliked it. Nonetheless, it made $1 million at the U.S., box office.

(Computers and cell phones were in its’ infancy back in 1984. People relied upon outdoor pay phones, indoor rotary phones and the regular mail delivered by carriers. They also got their news only by radio and printed newspapers. VHS home tapes were on the rise long before DVD).

“Mike’s Murder.” Betty (Debra Winger) is a Los Angeles bank teller. She was taught tennis lessons by Mike who happens to sell drugs on the side. They had a one-night-stand and remained friends for two years. He finally tells her that other drug dealers are searching for him. She wants to help, but he’s been murdered.

Betty decides to find out how Mike was killed. She soon discovers that he had other secrets and that the L.A., drug world is so much bigger than her. It touches her life and she’s in danger. When she finally discovers the whole truth. The drug world passes her by and she realizes that she likes living on the edge.

'The Mummy' doing big business at the Foreign Box Office

Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to criticize Tom Cruise's latest movie, "The Mummy." It grabbed $31 million on its' opening weekend at the U.S., box office. The production budget climbed to $125 million. For two weekends though, it has been number #1 at the Foreign Box Office. According to "Box Office Mojo" that tracks box office receipts. (June 18, 2017). "Mummy" has climbed to a worldwide total of $293,952,119. The Foreign total stands at $236,830,459. The domestic total has inched up to $57,121,660.

I saw it twice and liked it better the second time around. One critic says, "Mummy" will lose $95 million. It isn't July yet and I predict it will grab $75 million by then in the U.S. It will still continue to do brisk business around the word because of Tom Cruise's star power.

'Endeavour' 2012 PBS movie gives us a young Inspector Morse

ENDEAVOUR on ITV. (2012). This is the TV pilot movie of the four PBS Masterpiece seasons. It grabbed 8.21 million TV viewers overall in the final ratings. It is the prequel to the popular “Inspector Morse” TV series.

If anyone knows me. I love a great murder mystery. The TV pilot blew me away. I was completely shocked by who the killer turned out to be. Inspector Morse is young who begins his journey back in 1965.

“Endeavour” opened with several teen girls who are part of a sex orgy. They are with older men who are prominent in the Oxford community. A 15-year-old girl goes missing. Constable Morse had dropped out of a local university and was working with the police. He is unsure where he’s going and decides to resign as a deputy. He is then re-assigned to Oxford and quickly studies the missing case of the teen girl. He’s smart and pieces together how she might’ve disappeared. A young man kills himself who knew this missing girl. Inspector “Thursday” sees something in Morse as an excellent, budding investigator.

(Note: People have uploaded this movie onto YouTube and it is disappointing. Buy the DVD at AMAZON. You'll be glad you did...,).

He then ran out into the driveway and killed Amy.

The intruder was carrying a dagger knife with a chain shaped handle. He also had a prop gun that is used on TV and in the movies. Bob and Bunny Leighton both say he was dressed in black. Bob says he looked like a white male. Bunny said he had a unique accent. The intruder made her lay over him in the house. Police say he might have military training. What none of them don’t understand is why he waited for Amy to come home. She just got out of drug rehab in 1992 and by 1994 was moving along nicely.

The male intruder got away and that was 20 years ago. Did Amy know that intruder?

It was pitch black in their bedroom and he had a shot gun. They were a happily married couple. He claimed to all family members that it was an accident. They accepted that at his word. Police investigators believed otherwise when Lars failed several questions in a polygraph test. They also couldn’t believe that the bedroom was that dark for him to not recognize his own wife.

Ronald realizes that his daughter’s fight to protect the environment was worth it. Even if Emma had to die for the cause and he too risked his life for the truth. Plutonium is illegal and had been sought after by several countries including the U.S. Loads of money was transferred secretly to get a hold of a deadly weapon.
