Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to criticize Tom Cruise's latest movie, "The Mummy." It grabbed $31 million on its' opening weekend at the U.S., box office. The production budget climbed to $125 million. For two weekends though, it has been number #1 at the Foreign Box Office. According to "Box Office Mojo" that tracks box office receipts. (June 18, 2017). "Mummy" has climbed to a worldwide total of $293,952,119. The Foreign total stands at $236,830,459. The domestic total has inched up to $57,121,660.
I saw it twice and liked it better the second time around. One critic says, "Mummy" will lose $95 million. It isn't July yet and I predict it will grab $75 million by then in the U.S. It will still continue to do brisk business around the word because of Tom Cruise's star power.
