'Endeavour' Morse deals with 100-year-old family massacre

ENDEAVOUR on PBS Masterpiece. (S2E2). The second episode was called, “Nocturne.” The final TV ratings garnered 6.19 million TV viewers overall. This is the prequel to the popular “Inspector Morse” TV series.

“Nocturne.” A genealogy professor and researcher is blade-sliced in the throat and dies. There is a lot of blood. His death is connected to a “young girl’s school” where it is run by a lady who attended that school as a teen. There is only a handful of students living inside this huge building/mansion. They are also haunted by a family who were all killed on the grounds of the home. They were actually slaughtered and it has been a 100-year-mystery on who killed them. Constable Morse discovers that the professor had information on an inheritance coming from that mansion…,

(Note: I guessed who the killer was, but changed my mind. Boy, was I fooled. I love this TV series).
