"Listen to me Marlon" A documentary in Marlon Brando's own words

I watched LISTEN TO ME MARLON (2015) on actor Marlon Brando. He tape recorded thousands of hours of himself. He talks us through his life from as boy into adulthood & toward eventual movie stardom. He was dedicated to the craft of acting until he decided to just cash-in playing the father of Superman in the 1970's. He made millions ($$) off that movie for only a few minutes of screen time.

The most interesting part was the fractured relationship he had with his parents which signaled the problems he had with his own children. He fought hard to be the best parent. He supported Native Americans by sending Sacheen Little-Feather to accept his Oscar as best actor for THE GODFATHER. Her real name is Maria Cruz who is only part native & isn't an enrolled member of any U.S. tribe. She spoke about the mistreatment of natives in movies.

The best part's were of him talking about the acting roles in the movies he hated & somewhat liked. His most personal performance was in LAST TANGO IN PARIS where he delved into the deepest part of himself. It was soul wrenching & he was angry at the director for bringing out his very worst. (My favorite performance of his). -- This is a very good & of course insightful documentary.
